Visit.
Before we set off for The Lake District, we arranged 3 days with family and friends in Wigan/Manchester. We were overdue for a visit and it was good to see everyone.
Auntie Edna looked well but seemed more confused than when we last saw her. Hopefully we will see her again soon.
We met Mike and Catherines new baby Matthew for the first time.....and Mike showed us around his caravan and big garden shed. James was busy watching his Thomas the Tank Engine video.
Ang made a lovely lasagne as promised ....and onion rings too. She rang last night to ask me to be Godmother to Florence. I am thrilled and look forward to offering my support over the years. Florence by the way is lovely. Joseph is too....he spent the afternoon playing with his train set and running around the living room at super speed.
We popped in to say hello to Roger and he gave us a copy of some funny "you ve been framed" style videos of people falling over and a very funny animation of a cat trying to wake his owner up in the morning.
Charlotte took us to the Windmill Gallery to look at some local art and we had a coffee in the cafe across the road.
We went to Clitheroe with Jenny Richard Laura and Mum....raided the charity shops and had a pub lunch. Jenny made a corned beef hash in the evening.
Laura persuaded me to dye my hair.... we bought a home kit and it turned out well.
She was putting together a Mothers Day photo album for Jenny and we pinched some old photos of Terence and his Dad.
We even had time to squeeze in a visit to the cemetery.
Our next visit will be in April.
