We visited Crosby on Sunday... to see Another Place by Anthony Gormley. There are 100 life size figures spread out across the beach at Crosby. They are moulded on the artists own body and are made from solid cast iron. Some of the figures are clean and tidy...others are covered in barnacles and rust.... others are up to their chests in sand. If there is a very high tide, all the figures will be completely submerged.
