St Davids Day
It was definitely a weekend to remember.
Jim Lisa Iwan and Luke....Cathy Graham and The Rhos.... and Mark ...all came to visit on Saturday. We spent most of the day cycling along the river...in a big convoy. Rhosyn was attatched to the back of Grahams bike by a metal pole with a little bike on the end. She held on like a trouper for most of the day....and only fell off once. It was very dramatic but she recovered well.
We sat down to a meal later when the kids had gone to bed. Lots of red wine went around and Tel got out his dodgy selection of whiskies. Mark left at about 11pm to drive back to Nottingham. It was lovely to see him and to have him with us for the day.
Sunday was St Davids Day. Iwan and Luke had their Wales rugby tops on and Lisa wore a little leek badge. We blew up an inflatable daffodil and leek..and took some photos of the kids. We drove down to Tintern Abbey , took advantage of the free entry and had a look around. There was a lady telling traditional Welsh stories and playing the violin. We stopped for lunch and then headed home.
It was lovely to see everyone.
Next time we should move on from cycling... and go for canoeing!!!!
