Voices
There was a lovely idea in the paper at the weekend.
The idea is that instead of or as well as taking hundreds of photos and hours of videos of our families, children and friends.... why not make some audio recordings ....ideally on one of those old style tape recorders...with microphone plugged into the side.
So.....just voices and noises...without pictures.
A very simple thing to do....but something that could really capture a moment.
Hearing a voice from the past can make you gasp out loud. It brings the memories flooding back and is a true reminder of that person.

When we were young, our parents would occasionally put the tape recorder on the dinner table (after dinner!), and we would all sit around and sing songs, each of us getting to choose one song. I always loved hearing that tape......sadly, it has now disappeared!
