Laura, Mum and Paul came to stay with us for the Easter weekend. As the weather was cold and showery, we spent a lot of time sat by the woodburner drinking tea. The woodburner has a lovely calming affect on people...the heat and watching the flames....Terences Mum loved it. The kayaking on the river and the carboot sale were both cancelled due to the weather..... it was completely different to last year when Easter was warm and sunny. Terence and Paul crawled home from the pub at 1 am on sat night (wishing each other "good luck" very loudly as they came in) and moaned and groaned a lot on sunday!!. Laura and I made rice crispy cakes which turned out quite well. Terences Mum brought along one of her legendary apple pies, for us to have with Sunday dinner.
