That reminds me of my own 1970s disco experience: I was living in Brooklyn, and John Travolta was in our neighborhood filming "Saturday Night Fever"! I can still remember walking though the neighborhood one summer evening and seeing Travolta's private trailer being mobbed by hundreds of screaming women. Later, we went to the premiere in a theatre down the street. It was SUCH fun to see "my" neighborhood hangouts on the screen!
And I still have the video of that classic film. It really was (and is) a very good documentary of what life was like in that era, at that age.
