Warm and definitely fuzzy.
Most people are buying I Pods, MP3 players....all the latest gadgets and gizmos. I seem to be in reverse and am building up a big collection of cassettes. Well ..... when theres a big tub of them for sale in Oxfam and it says "3 for £1"...I just cant resist. I am now listening to Barry Manilow, Carly Simon, The Housemartins, Now Thats What I Call Music 14, Marvin Gaye, Wings and of course Shirley Bassey. Maybe I ll look on Ebay for a groovy Sony Walkman,circa 1980s?

I brought my sony walkman back in to use again in preparation for labour. I had an old tape of Symphony Number five by Shostakovish that I thought might come in useful to ride my contractions along to. Didn't use it thoughor my brand new ipod given to me by Graham. It just got on my nerves.
I remember the first Sony Walkman that my father gave me, must have been early 80's - dancing around the kitchen in my disco roller skates listening to the sample tape that came with the walkman- a funked up 'Hooked on Classics'.
Go with that Retro vibe Jill, you should get a massive mobile with battery pack too..
