Big Kelp on stewart island

Quick call Norris McWhirter.....is this the biggest bit of Kelp ever found. Proably not, but this was just one slimy leaf from an even bigger plant...it was very tough and rubbery ...apparently the Maori used it to make handbags - smelly handbags.
