Lists

My car passed its MOT on Monday.
I went to Newport on Tuesday to go through my disclosure paperwork for my new job and reminisced to myself  about when Tel was at college there and we lived in the flat at the end of town... 20 years ago.  I took some photos of his Clytha shared house and the red wave by the river. They were filming Casualty in the market hall.
In the evening we went to the village hall for a meeting about the railway bridge and how the Wye Valley AONB are trying to get lottery funding to do some improvements. It was an interesting meeting.
On Wednesday it was our last yoga session and afterwards we went over to the pub for lunch. I would like to carry on with yoga when it starts again at the end of April. I have loved the stretching exercises.

I currently have a few of lists on the go.
List one is an Easter tea party list.
List two is a plants and shrubs to buy list.
. . . and theres always a shopping list on the go?

I am really pleased with this photo. It has lovely detail and is very clear. . i especially love the ears. This deer came up to the kitchen window and was a bit soggy after all the rain. I will never get tired of seeing these amazing animals. . even when they are munching through my daffodils in the garden!!

We helped out with the village litter pick yesterday morning and then went for a walk and had lunch at the pub. There was a little bit of snow but no where near as much as some of our friends saw up north.

Western Mail

"Shaun Edwards celebrates
Shaun Edwards is a fairly terrifying man. Rarely do you see so much as a smile play across his grizzled features. But the victory lap revealed a very different side to his character. Pumping his chest, swinging his jacket top in windmills and waving his fists joyously, this was a side of Edwards we d never seen before"
Looks like Shaun has joined our club. . Wiganers who are proud to be adopted Welsh.
It was a day when it was impossible not to love being (adopted) Welsh.

The busy week began on Monday with my job interview for the post of Support Worker . It went well and the people were nice and I was happy to get a phone call the next day offering me the job. I now have to go through the disclosure process where I prove I am who I say I am. . with the help of official identification. . and hopefully we can arrange a start date for sometime in April.
On Thursday it was Tels birthday and on Friday he had a day off work and we went to Hay on Wye for the day. I bought some new wellies and some earrings. . and we had a lovely lunch in the amazing Richard Booths Bookshop.
Yesterday was the thrilling Wales v England 6 nations decider in Cardiff. . how great it would have been to have been in the stadium to say "I was there". I love the Welsh team and they were fantastic yesterday.
We also managed to squeeze in some work in the garden and Tel built some steps up into the cabin.
Phew!!!

"Change is not something that we should fear. Rather it is something that we should welcome. For without change nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they're meant to be."
" Yoga is about clearing away whatever is in us that prevents our living in the most full and whole way. With yoga, we become aware of how and where we are restricted. . . in body, mind and heart. . and how gradually to open and release these blockages. As these blockages are cleared. our energy is freed. We start to feel more harmonious, more at one with ourselves. Our lives begin to flow. . or we begin to flow more in our lives." Cybele Tomlinson

Who's that girl?

We had a lovely day in Cardiff (The Diff) yesterday. . . Tel had to be at sailing for 9am so it was an early start. I had a look around the National Museum of Wales and did bit of shopping. . and then we drove over to see Cathy and Rhosyn. Cathy made a lovely roast dinner. . but my banana cake was a bit disappointing!! It was nice to see them both and to catch up on news. Rhosyn did some brushes work including this one. . . and we took some very weird photos in photo booth.
By the way Tel won his race in the sailing. . he was crewing with Tom who has a new boat and new sails and did really well at the nationals. I think that is only the 2nd time Tel has won a race in all the time he has been sailing. x

On Saturday night we went to see comedian Andrew Lawrence. He was funny. . as a comedian should be. . hes been up and coming for 10 years.
In the day we made a start on digging out the bank in the "no deer" area. . hopefully by the time Ros and Roy and Roger come to stay in April it will be ready for planting. It was lovely to be in the garden on a sunny March day.

"You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars
You have a right to be here, wether or not it is clear to you no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world
Be carefull
Strive to be happy"
