Weekend

We had a good weekend.... shopping in Bristol and then gardening yesterday. I have a camera full of photos but cant get them onto I photo at the moment. Seems strange.

Sneezing

Wilson is stepping up his bad behaviour.
Aswell as howling in the night....jumping on the bed and poking us with his claws....he has now worked out that sitting on our heads and sneezing on us at 5am will definitely wake us up.
He is a nightmare.

PC probs

Our computer of 8 years has finally given up.... first the screen went funny and now it keeps shutting down. We cant use it anymore.... and are managing with Tels work laptop. So its a bit difficult to blog at the moment.. and I am way behind checking on Noels twitter!!!

On Saturday night we watched Mad Men (my Mum would have loved it) and Grandmas House which we thought was really funny, despite reading an unflattering review in the paper. This week there is "all new" Grand Designs to look forward to...and soon Noel will be back with the Buzzcocks.

Goodbye Big Brother

I ve cancelled all my crazy plans for tonight.... the drinking, the late night partying.... and I ve bought a bar of chocolate to munch on while I watch the final final final night of Big Brother.
Lets hope the winner is Nick or Brian... one of the originals.

Cycling around Berlin on our first day was a great way to see the main sights. We visited the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Cathedral, The Holocaust Memorial and The Reistag. We quickly realized what a beautiful and exciting city Berlin is.

A haircut had been booked for 2.30 .... and then we headed over to the Berlinische Art Gallery for a quick look around before it closed. We had a "meal" in the Santa Maria Canteen....it turned out to be a mexican sandwich with tortillas on the side. Spicy. On the way home we were temporarily separated when we tried to get on the tube.... the doors closed and Graeme, Mia and I where left behind..... later joining the next train with a hen party and lots of people drinking bottles off beer.... to meet Tel and Olivia down the line. Mia said her heart was beating very fast.

Sunday in Berlin was a great day.
Starting at the local flea market where we bought some 70s wallpaper, a brooch and some 60s paper garlands to string up in the garden next summer. We then cycled over to the Hamburger Banhof to see the Bruce Nauman exhibition. I loved the neon. We finished the day at the Bearpit Karaoke and then home for a veggie thai curry.

On our last day in Berlin...we cycled over to Olivias studio passing the Berlin Wall East Side Gallery on the way. It was lovely to see Olivias amazing paintings ...she is so talented.
It was sad saying goodbye as we dont know when we will meet up again. It could be a long time.... but seeing them 3 times in the past 12 months has been the best and we have made lots of happy memories to keep us going till the next time.x x
