We were really looking forward to seeing Simple Kid again....and on Thursday night we saw him live in Bristol.
We went with Sophie and Mauri....hoping they would enjoy it too. After the show...Terence checked with them about 7 times..."what did you think" ...."did you enjoy it"!!!!!
Simple Kid was really good.....it was dark and dingy ....and the crowd were singing along. Serotonin was my favourite. He went off at the end.....and then came back on in a poncho to do 2 more songs.
I had to catch a bus, and 2 trains to get to Bristol on Thursday.....and felt a bit dizzy by the time we got to the docks. It was a good night ...and worth the effort.

I went up to Wigan on Friday ....to see Charlotte and Ang. We had tickets to see "Bedroom Farce" at The Lowry....it was a good show. It was lovely to see Joseph again.....he s great. He goes into fits of giggles when anyone says "whoops"...he s got a great cheeky laugh.
Ang is due to have baby number 2 soon.....so the next time I see her, there will be another little person around.x
I popped in to see Auntie Edna and Jenny, Richard, Laura and Mum on the way back....and just as I got on the motorway to head home...I heard on the radio that Wigan had beaten Leeds in the Challenge Cup game. This is very exciting.....they are now in the Quarter Finals and just 2 games away from the new Wembley and the Challenge Cup Final. Could Trent Barrett inspire us all the way there?

Nerd or Geek?

A nerd is "an intelligent, single minded expert in a particular technical discipline or profession"....he likes to play air guitar and can spot a Honey Buzzard at 100 metres!!!!

A geek is " a person with an eccentric devotion to a particular interest"......he likes to munch on Skittles and tend to his fire with a big stick!!!!

We made a new friend this week...in the shape of this little pigeon. We named him Ronnie after Ronnie O Sullivan. Obviously used to humans...we fed him some bird seed and gave him a saucer of water. He had tags on both legs so we looked him up on the web. He is supposed to be in Derbyshire. We hope he was just resting here on his journey home....what a lovely little bird.
Oh so very different to the crows. Aaaarrrggghhhh!!!!!
