Who goes.....you decide.

So we are getting down to the main characters in Big Brother....and its anyones guess who will win. It could be Anthony....hes been consistently "nice" . Or it could be Derek...the oldest and the poshest. Kemal has been funny...baby doll. Then theres Eugene....hes nervous and geeky. The last few weeks are usually the best, as they each start to think they ve got a chance of winning. The pressure starts to tell. Craig is already drained..."Ive got nothing left to give the public"....hilarious.

Having a chat with Number One Godson in Cathys garden. We were discussing how Grahams chair {ripped and worn} was really old and we must be really careful with it. A few minutes later....I sat on the chair, the material gave way under my weight and my legs were in the air!!!! Iwan said "we d better take it to the dump". Graham was very understanding!!!

St Francis.

After Josephs christening, I called in to see Ros and Roy. They were on their way to the BBQ at St Francis...and I agreed to tag along for an hour. We went into the church to see the new red carpet and chairs. Each chair has a small brass plaque on it ...in rememberance of people who have died. This is a lovely idea. I have such happy memories of going to St Francis with my Mum Dad and Martin....Mum helped with the Sunday School...and she loved being involved. The friends my Mum made all those years ago are still part of the church, and some were at the BBQ. Sometimes I just feel my Mum is over my shoulder,watching what im up to.....and she was definitely there,with me on Sunday.

So on Sunday....I went to church twice in one day. It got me thinking...maybe when we move away to our country residence!!!!...I will look into going to church again. I think my Mum would be pleased.

It was Josephs christening yesterday in Parbold, Wigan. The service at Christ Church was beautiful..lots of lovely hymns, and a really warm atmosphere. Family and friends gathered at Ang and Richards house for food and drink and lots of photographs. The christening cake was the middle tier of Ang and Richards wedding cake....its been in Dots freezer for 10 years...Ang and Richard got married a long time ago!!!! There were lots of children running around...it was a lovely occaision. Joseph was the star of the show...his lovely long baby hair looked great. I heard Black Box "Ride on Time" playing in the kitchen...and it reminded me of our trip to Turkey in 1989. We ve been friends now for over 20 years..and Im really proud of us.x

Thank goodness hes back. Not sure where hes been....but Ive missed him. He has to be the most scrummy man on tv at the moment....v. dishy. Im sure a beard would suit ...but clean shaven will do.

How do the terrorists feel......when in the aftermath of their attacks, people come together,care for each other and support each other? Thousands of people gather in London to celebrate the end of World War II,and people get back on the tubes and buses and return to work. Although there is really no other option but to carry on.... it is still very moving to see people pulling together...and carrying on. Life really does goes on...but for over 50 families this will be the worst of times. These attacks have shown the very worst and the very best in human behaviour.

When Jenny and I get together ....we are Jillifer. On Monday we went to the beach with Laura. We took a picnic and dodged the showers. Bad news....we missed out on the speed boat trip around the bay. Good news... we drooled over Brad Pitt in Mr and Mrs Smith at the cinema.Bad news again..... Laura bought some very pricey Uncle Lukes.x
