Enjoying the sunshine in our back garden. This photo sums up life in Pomeroy St in many ways. We are very close to our neighbours...houses ,windows ,washing lines.Some of our neighbours are 5 star...some are not!! Our favourite neighbours are Joan and Steve...Sarah...Roy and family...Steve and Heidi...and Pepsi and Shirley. We will always remember our time "down the docks"...and the people we made friends with.

Terences Mum came to visit us this weekend. It was action packed...trips to Tenby, Penarth,Tintern Abbey, Monmouth. We also went to see Miss Saigon at the Wales Millenium Centre. We all had a lovely time....we hope she comes to visit us again soon.

Yesterday it was the Enterprise Open Meeting at Penarth Sailing Club. Terence took part and did quite well. Later on we watched the Waverley paddle steamer come in and pick up its passengers from the end of the pier. It was a beautiful sunny evening...Penarth at its best.

Theres never a dull moment in Pomeroy St....forget Pobol y Cwm...its all happening down the docks. I thought having Charlotte Church queuing up with the kids at the ice cream van was the highlight, but tonight I saw the Number 8 Cardiff Bay bus drive down our street and drop someone off. It was fantastic....people came out of their houses in disbelief. Were we all seeing things??? This is the sort of thing I will miss when we move away. Fantastic.

Hes got a lot of stuffing this one!!!I gave it to Cathy as a birthday present last year. The matching leopard skin waistcoat and hat look so cool...and the banana in his hand looks so funny.Nice handy work ..if I do say so myself. I hope Rhosyn will enjoy playing with him when she is older.....move over Mr Robbins!!!!!

I really like this photo. I remember how excited we were when Auntie Elaine and Olivia came over from Australia to visit us. My Grandma was there too...she didnt break into a smile very often!!!..and she always wore that mustard dress!!!! We went to Wigan Park and took some cine film. My favourite thing about this photo..is how happy my Dad looks.x

Yesterday, we walked from Caswell Bay to Pwll Du Bay along the coastal path. It was great to be out in the fresh air...and not talking about moving house!!!.Walking over loose rocks..reminded me of twisting my ankle on the glacier in NZ....ouch! We went to Verdis on the way home for a coffee.

Rufus is a pecks man.

Rufus Wainwright performed on Later with Jools Holland last night....his beautiful voice sang beautiful songs. He is the son of Loudon Wainwright III [photoabove]...folk legend and great man. We saw Loudon perform in Los Angeles...at McAbes Guitar Shop. We have also seen him in Ebbw Vale, Cardiff, Bristol and Manchester....we love him. Loudon wrote the song "Rufus is a tit man" when Rufus was a baby. Rufus is now a grown up gay man...and Loudon jokes that he has changed the title.

At the end of the day......

Why does everyone on reality tv keep saying..."at the end of the day" ? Also..."you know what I mean"? It is so annoying. What does it mean anyway? Obviously these people havent got much to say ..so they fill out their sentences with these annoying little sayings...aaaarrrggghhhh!!!!! Im afraid this years BB is terrible.....! Celebrity Love Island is looking better all the time...and it has to be said, so is Lee Sharpe!!!
